Byron R. Dixon is the Principal of Octavius V. Catto Family School. Principal Dixon began his career as an elementary school teacher, leading grades 2-6 in the Camden City School District. He has a Bachelor’s degree in history from Holy Cross College and a Masters of Education degree in school leadership from Wilmington University.

Principal Dixon has served as the Principal of Catto Family School since 2009. He previously worked as the Principal of Creative Arts High School and Vice Principal of Henry L. Bonsall Family School.

Catto Family School serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school is equipped with both PC and Apple iMac computers, a distance learning lab, and SMARTboards in all classrooms. Catto Family School shares its structure and is partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County.
