About Our Administrators

Principal, Janine Casella
Starting my 31st year within the Camden City School District, I am both honored and humbled to serve another year as Principal of Cooper's Poynt Family School. Although most of my years were spent in East Camden, these last seven years in North Camden have been amazing. The families and the community that comprises North Camden have been amazing. My overarching goal when I first started as Principal was to ensure that I was accessible to all families and neighbors as a part of this community. In this upcoming year, I will strive to continue that commitment as well as provide students and families the education that they deserve and expect when they choose Cooper's Poynt School. I look forward to another year and as always I am here to serve!

Lead Educator, Jeffrey Grossman
My name is Jeff Grossman, and I am excited about my new role as a Lead Educator at Cooper's Poynt Family School. This will be my 16th year as a proud public-school employee of Camden City School District. Some of you may remember me as a teacher at Forest Hill and ECDC. While working as an elementary school teacher during the day, I attended graduate school at Rutgers during the night to become a school administrator. In 2014 I made the leap from classroom instruction to school administration and have appreciated the opportunity to work with many of the incredible public educators in our district at a few different schools. Prior to coming to Cooper’s Poynt Family School, I worked at Cramer, Forest Hill, and most recently at Morgan Village Middle School as a Lead Educator.
I have heard about all of the amazing things that are happening at Cooper’s Poynt, and I look forward to getting to know, and work with the incredible team that you already have in place. I am confident that together we will help to ensure that Cooper’s Poynt is a place where all of our students can learn, grow, and pursue their academic dreams!
