About Our Administrators

Starting my 29th year within the Camden City school district, I am both honored and humbled to serve another year as Principal of Cooper's Poynt Family School. Although most of my years were spent in East Camden, these last seven years in North Camden have been amazing. The families and the community that comprises North Camden have been amazing. My overarching goal when I first started as Principal was to ensure that I was accessible to all families and neighbors as a part of this community. In this upcoming year, I will strive to continue that commitment as well as provide students and families the education that they deserve and expect when they choose Cooper's Poynt School. I look forward to another year and as always I am here to serve.

I am very happy to introduce myself as one of the newest members of the Cooper’s Poynt Family School administrative team. With humility and joy I join Cooper’s Poynt Family School on August 23, 2021 as Lead Educator. I am honored to have been chosen to partner with such an amazing school and school community.
I arrive to Cooper’s Poynt as a seasoned teacher and Lead Educator. Before joining the team, and over the past 20+ years, I have served in a variety of educational roles as Instructional Leader, Instructional Coach/Mentor, Director of Advocacy and Family Services, Director of District-wide after school programming, departmental/grade level chair, as well as both a general and special education classroom teacher. With this diversity of experience, I believe Cooper’s Poynt will continue growing toward an exemplar in promoting growth in scholar learning within a meaningful learning environment.
As Lead Educator (instructional leader), instructional quality is top priority. I take the role of instructional leader seriously, am very passionate about education, and look forward to partnering with this team in continuing to provide our scholars with challenging, engaging, and high-quality academic experiences. As a parent of two, I recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection, ongoing professional development, and creating a climate of integrity. I firmly believe by working together, we can make sure every scholar’s academic needs are met.
I look forward to working with the families and educators of Cooper’s Poynt as we continue keeping our scholars the primary focus of our work, and look forward to celebrating our collective successes in the upcoming school year!
