Pre-K Registration
Did you know FREE preschool education is available to every Camden child who turns 3 or 4 before October 1?
Families are encouraged to register their child in pre-k to ensure they are prepared for success in kindergarten and beyond. Registration is NOW open, and seats are available at top pre-k programs across the City!
How you register your child:
Step 1: Take a look at all the available Pre-K sites in Camden.
Step 2: Choose the sites you prefer for your child from this list .
Step 3: Call your preferred sites to confirm whether there is a spot available for your child.
Step 4: Complete a registration packet at your chosen site ASAP. You will need to provide:
- 1 current proof of residency
- Child’s original birth certificate
- Child’s immunization record
- Proof of income (for Head Start locations only)
- Note: Other forms may be required.
Step 5: Bring your child to school this September and let the learning begin!

If you are concerned that your preschool child is developing or learning differently, you can call and request an evaluation for special education and related services. For ages Birth to 3 years please call the Early Intervention Program at 1-888-653-4463. For preschool children ages 3-5, please call your neighborhood District school.
