CCSD Summer Enrichment Programs

Registration Information

The Camden City School District will be hosting several virtual Q&A and registration sessions. These sessions will take place beginning June 1st through June 2nd, and June 14 through June 30th from 4 pm to 6 pm (excluding the weekends).

Summer Programs for District Students
Camden City Schools will be offering Summer Enrichment, ESY, Credit Recovery, and Bilingual Inclusive Programs beginning July 5, 2022. These programs will provide current Camden City students with a full day of academic instruction, social-emotional wellness, and enrichment activities. The programs will be available to all general education, special education, and bilingual student populations.
Summer programs will operate four days a week, for four weeks at the following participating sites, H.B. Wilson Family School, Catto Family School, Woodrow Wilson HS (Eastside High), and Camden High Campus.
In addition, Camden City’s Food and Nutrition program will offer a hot breakfast and lunch to all participants, four days a week. The District has also partnered with the community to offer extracurricular activities.

Summer Program Breakdown
Students Entering Grades K-8 Program Overview:
The elementary Summer Learning Program offers Camden City students entering grades K-8 (current PreK-7) to participate in a full day of programming in person at one of our elementary and family-school sites.
Instructional programming will focus on the following:
- Literacy, Math, STEM, and Coding
- Extracurricular programming includes theatre, cooking, music, art, physical education, and athletics
- Social-emotional learning
Middle School through Twelfth Grade Students:
- Core course credit attainment through Credit Recovery
- 6th-11th graders can recover up to three core course credits during the summer
- 12th graders can recover up to four core course credits during the summer
