Why Should R.T. Cream Be Your School of Choice?
Welcome To Riletta Twyne Cream Family School

Hello and welcome. My name is Principal Dyer. At R.T. Cream Early Childhood Center, our staff knows that learning goes beyond letters and numbers, we’re here to help enrich the hearts and souls of our students. That means our staff makes connection and compassion a priority to both our students and their families. Whether it's daily check-ins, creating a welcoming school environment, or finding ways to support learning outside the classroom, our staff aims to create a positive and inspiring school experience. Our vision is to develop and nurture our students' curiosity to begin their journey toward becoming life long learners. Through meaningful experiences, it is our mission to build a strong academic and social emotional foundation that is conducive to school success.
The doors to Riletta Twyne Cream opened for the first time in January 1991 under the leadership of Dorothy Wyatt, principal.
We are named after Riletta Twyne Cream, a former educator, and now a Camden County Freeholder. Mrs. Cream grew up in Camden where she had a storied career as an educator. Starting in 1949, she taught in four different elementary schools. She became principal at Sumner School in the mid-sixties. In 1968, she took the job of principal at Cooper’s Poynt School where she remained until being principal of Camden High School in 1972.
The entire Camden community is proud to have Riletta Twyne Cream Family School’s beautiful structure in her honor. It is our hope and dream that Mrs. Cream’s legacy will be reflected on the lives of today and tomorrow’s youth.
